Terms of Use — The Long Game: Golfer's Story

Effective: 6 September 2026

These terms cover the iOS app The Long Game: Golfer's Story (the "app"). The app is made and published by Xpertise Consultancy LLC FZ, trading as Avoriq, of Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Avoriq", "we", "us"). By installing or playing the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use it.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must read these terms and agree to them on your behalf, and they are responsible for any purchase made through your device.

2. Your licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and play the app on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to these terms and to Apple's App Store terms. We own the app and everything in it, including the name, the code, the artwork, the writing and the design. The licence does not give you any ownership of it.

Apple's standard end-user licence terms for App Store apps also apply. Where they conflict with these terms, Apple's terms take priority for matters they cover.

3. No account

The app has no account, login or server. Your career is saved on your phone and nowhere else. We cannot see it, back it up, restore it or move it to another device, and deleting the app deletes it. Please back up your device if your save matters to you.

4. Purchases and refunds

The app is free to play with adverts. A one-off purchase called Pro removes adverts permanently. Pro is not a subscription and there are no other purchases in the app. Nothing that affects how you play is for sale.

All purchases are made through Apple and handled under Apple's App Store terms. We never see your payment details. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us, and Apple's refund rules decide the outcome. We cannot issue refunds ourselves.

If you delete the app or move to a new device, Apple's Restore Purchases function is the way to get Pro back. Your career save is not restored with it, for the reason set out in section 3.

5. Adverts

The free version shows an occasional full-screen advert served by Google AdMob. iOS will ask your permission before advertising tracking runs. If you decline, the app works exactly the same and still shows adverts. There are no adverts you can watch in exchange for an in-game advantage.

6. What you must not do

7. Ending the licence

You can end these terms at any time by deleting the app. Your licence ends automatically if you break these terms. Because there is no account, there is nothing for us to suspend or close; ending the licence simply means you must stop using the app and delete it.

8. Changes and availability

The app is in active development. We may change, add or remove features, and we may stop offering the app altogether. We will try to give notice of major changes through the App Store, but we cannot promise the app will always be available or will always work on every device or iOS version.

9. Privacy

How the app handles data is set out in our Privacy Policy. In short: no name, email or account is collected, your save stays on your device, and two third parties receive limited data as described there.

10. Our responsibility to you

The app is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be free of bugs or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for loss of your save data, loss of progress, or any indirect loss arising from using or being unable to use the app. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, or any support for it, and has no obligation to you in relation to it. Apple may rely on these terms as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of the United Arab Emirates, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
